Welcome to my travel blog! My name is Shirley and I love to travel and eat good food. I’ve already visited 35 countries on different continents, and I’ve tasted their traditional cuisine. My favorite cuisine is French, but I enjoy trying new and interesting dishes.
In this blog, I’ve compiled different restaurants in America that I’ve been to. You can take a look and decide which ones you would like to visit.
The cuisine in America is as diverse as the different nationalities that inhabit it. Texas’ Mexican origins reflect spicy pepper relish and spit-roasted dishes, while Florida’s cuisine is based on Cuban rice dishes and Jewish delicacies. And all across the land, from Maine in the northeast to Washington state in the northwest, the same vegetable soups, simple green salads, steaks and potatoes, fruit pies and ice cream are found – this uniformity of flavor ensures the success of fast-food businesses. But some areas, especially New York, New England, Miami, New Orleans, California, and the entire Pacific Northwest, have distinctive cuisine.
